WARRANTY POLICIES

The following warranty policies below apply to FIELD products including drums, cymbals, and accessories if you are the original owner and can provide proof of purchase. This warranty does not apply to various accessories or third-party products.

LIFETIME WARRANTY and UPGRADE:
Welcome to the club! If there is a newer version of your product or if you damage a FIELD product while in use, you can purchase a replacement or an upgraded replacement product at discounted Warranty Upgrade prices for the life of the product. Products purchased at Warranty Upgrade prices directly from FIELD will be covered by our Lifetime Warranty and 30-Day Warranty against Manufacturer’s Defects and 1 Year Warranty Against Failure.
30 DAY WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURER’S DEFECTS:

A Manufacturer’s Defect is anything deemed incorrect with the product upon purchasing it.

If a defect is found on any FIELD products within 30 days of purchase, we will repair or replace the defective item free of charge. Customers are responsible for shipping the item to FIELD. FIELD shall be responsible for all DOMESTIC return to customer shipping costs, only within the first 30 days. Hawaii and Alaska customers are required to pay both to and from shipping costs. Customers are responsible for all to and from shipping costs for warranty repair items after 30 days. INTERNATIONAL shipping costs shall be entirely the responsibility of the customer, this includes shipping to FIELD and return shipping back to the customer. FIELD does not pay for any international shipping costs whatsoever.

Any product determined to possess such a defect will be replaced or repaired free of charge.
All Warranty Related Products must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
This Warranty does not cover deterioration or damage of any part due to normal wear and tear, abuse or misuse on items such as drum heads, metal cymbals, replaceable playing surfaces, finishes, etc. All wear and tear items are not covered under this warranty. Any damage incurred during customer replacement is the sole responsibility of the customer. Customer alteration, modification, disassembly, removal or tampering of any FIELD product will void the warranty. All electronic components of the drums and cymbals are guaranteed for the duration of the warranty to the original owner only with valid original sales receipt.

FIELD reserves the right to evaluate and approve any product returned for repair or replacement and shipment must be properly packaged and shipped to FIELD for evaluation. No shipments will be accepted without a return authorization number (RMA#) printed clearly on the package. FIELD must be able to duplicate the problem with any product that is returned for service that the customer has determined is not functioning to FIELD specifications. Any product that is evaluated by FIELD may be subject to additional charges. If a product is returned and FIELD is not able to replicate the problem the item will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

*Cymbals and Drums that become cracked, bent or damaged due to normal use, abuse or mishandling will not be covered by FIELD under the 30-Day Manufacturers Defect Warranty and 1 Year Warranty Against Failure, however, will qualify for the Lifetime Warranty Upgrade replacement or upgrade at discounted prices. Please contact us for assistance in determining the nature of your problem.

1 YEAR WARRANTY AGAINST FAILURE:

If a failure develops on any FIELD products within one year of purchase, FIELD will repair the failed item free of charge. Customer shall be responsible for all shipping costs.

***This 1 Year Warranty Against Failure does not cover deterioration or damage of any part due to normal wear and tear, abuse or misuse on items such as but not limited to: dents, cracks, breaks or tears in the cymbals, drums, sticks, cables, hardware or other accessories. Cymbals that become damaged due to performance or normal wear and tear will not be covered by the 30-Day Manufacturers Defect Warranty and the 1 Year Warranty Against Failure, however, will qualify for the Lifetime Warranty Upgrade replacement or upgrade at discounted prices. Please contact us for assistance in determining the nature of your problem.

PRODUCTION LEAD TIMES:

Build times can vary depending on quantity, complexity, and demand. Please allow us the time needed to build single-item orders and additional time for larger quantity orders. These are high-quality instruments designed to last a lifetime and meticulously hand built per customer order, therefore we require adequate time for a single item and require additional time for larger production orders. Any production lead times quoted are based on averages and actual production times may vary. Customers will be notified when their product is ready to be shipped.
CUSTOM PRODUCT BUILD TO ORDER POLICY:

FIELD products including drums and cymbals are considered custom items, each built-to-order. Each product is built-to-order and custom hand built per each customer and no two drums or cymbals are identical, thus making them custom items. All drum finishes are created per each customer’s order. All cymbal finishes are hand hammered and lathed per each customer order. There are no returns or refunds on custom product build-to-order items. Exchanges on cymbals may be considered.   

INTERNATIONAL and DOMESTIC RETURN SHIPPING:

In the event of a warranty related repair. FIELD shall be responsible for all DOMESTIC return shipping costs only, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. INTERNATIONAL shipping costs shall be entirely the responsibility of the customer, this includes shipping to FIELD and return shipping back to the customer. FIELD does not pay for any international shipping costs whatsoever.

RETURNS and REFUNDS:

• BACKORDERS and SPECIAL ORDERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS or CANCELLATIONS.

Because the material, components, and shipping expenses are purchased and paid upfront for your specific order, refunds or cancellations are not possible. Custom made-to-order items or modifications for each customer are also not eligible for refunds or cancellations.

• CYMBALS – RETURNS and REFUNDS – CUSTOM PRODUCT BUILD TO ORDER:

CUSTOM PRODUCT BUILD TO ORDER, These products are custom-built-to-order for each customer and are not kept in stock. Order cancellations/refunds are allowed up to 3 days after placing the order. Once production has begun no cancellations or refunds are allowed. Transaction fees if applicable will be deducted from your cancellations/refunds.

• DRUMS – RETURNS and REFUNDS – CUSTOM PRODUCT BUILD TO ORDER:

CUSTOM PRODUCT BUILD TO ORDER, These products are custom-built-to-order for each customer and are not kept in stock. Order cancellations/refunds are allowed up to 3 days after placing the order. Once production has begun no cancellations or refunds are allowed. Transaction fees if applicable will be deducted from your cancellations/refunds.

• DRUMSTICKS, CABLE SETS and ACCESSORIES – RETURNS and REFUNDS:

Drumsticks and Cable Sets are custom-built-to-order for each customer and are not kept in stock, drumsticks, and cable sets refunds or order cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee. This restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Transaction fees if applicable will also be deducted from your refund. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. Refunds will not be allowed after 5 days of receiving the item(s). Returns must be in flawless resellable condition. Items with marks or blemishes will not be accepted. Only manufacturer defects prior to any use of the drumstick are covered under warranty. Broken drumsticks or wear and tear of the wood or rubber of the drumstick is not covered under the warranty. Cable sets with any signs of wear are not refundable.
Accessories must be returned in unopened and unused condition. Accessories are considered shirts, hats, misc apparel, stickers, drum keys, etc. Transaction fees if applicable will also be deducted from your refund.
 

SHIPPING POLICY:

SHIPPING COSTS NEED TO BE DETERMINED AND BILLED SEPARATELY AND PAID PRIOR TO SHIPPING ITEMS. Shipping cost will be billed once products are ready to be shipped.

All product purchases must be shipped to the buyers physical billing address with direct customer delivery signature, no exceptions. We do not ship to PO boxes or separate addresses unless the product is paid for by money/bank transfer or by cash. All shipments must have tracking numbers and signed signature confirmation by the original buyer only. Any Customs and/or Duty fees for the specific country and/or region is the responsibility of the customer. FIELD is not responsible for any Duties, Taxes or Customs fees.

SHIPPING ISSUES or DAMAGED ITEMS:

•DAMAGED SHIPPING BOXES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE DELIVERY PERSON AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.

•YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO REPORT ANY DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS.

Field will not be held responsible if the customer accepts a damaged package from the delivery person and later finds an item is damaged or missing inside the shipment.   

Field will not be held liable for any damaged or missing items if you do not report the issue within 24 hours of receiving your shipment.

Field will not be held liable for any lost packages. Please contact Field or the shipping service if you believe your package is lost. If a package is lost then the shipping company will investigate and resolve the issue. 

Field will not be held liable for any stolen packages. If your package tracking number shows that it was delivered successfully and then is stolen from your location or shipment receiving area, please contact the shipping company immediately. 

The shipping companies have strict rules that we must follow in order to insure your package is covered under the shipping insurance guidelines. Please follow these rules to avoid any issues.

COMPATIBILITY:
FIELD products are compatible with a wide range of drum sound modules. We suggest checking our support page reference manual to check if your module is compatible with our products. Please refer to your drum sound module manual.

*Our cancellation/refund policy still applies even if your sound module is not compatible with any of our products.*  

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:

FIELD assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury that occurs from use of the products or from any information provided by FIELD, FIELD employees, agents, distributors, re-sellers or third parties. Purchasing or using FIELD products constitutes that you agree to these terms of use and will hold FIELD harmless.
PRODUCT FINISHES:
Products will vary in appearance due to the variability of custom and or handmade products, therefore, all product images are for reference only. FIELD cymbals and drums will vary in color and finish as this is the nature of custom and hand produced finishes and surfaces. FIELD reserves the right to change any information and product design or finish at any time without notice. 
FIELD makes no warranties either expressed or implied other than our 30-day Warranty Against Manufacturer’s Defects and the Lifetime Warranty Upgrade. FIELD manufactures electronic percussion products designed, engineered and assembled by FIELD. All guarantee information and product specifications and product designs are subject to change without notice.
*Any product that has been discontinued, modified, upgraded, improved or replaced with newer technology by FIELD may or may not be able to be repaired or replaced to original specification due to replacement parts that are no longer available to, or manufactured for or by FIELD. Under these circumstances, FIELD will provide the customer with optional repair, replacement, improvement or upgrade services. Optional repair, replacement, improvement or upgrade services which are available may be subject to additional charges.
